HR Auto Waste Truck Drivers – LOTS of OT!

Our client is a market leader in the Waste and Recycling industries and have observed no downturn in business unlike a number of their competitors – no worrying if you will drop in hours!

They are looking for Ongoing Casual to Permanent HR Truck Drivers to join their busy fleet. The Depot is based in Rocklea and has 6 x Driving positions with ASAP starts across Front Lift, Rear Lift and Hook Lift (RORO) Waste/Recycling Trucks.

Any HR or above ticketed Drivers that have experience in Waste Trucks or simply have good tenure in a multidrop HR Delivery role, you will be ideal for this role!

Plentiful Overtime is available and continuity of work expected to run 40 hour work week minimum with weekend work such as every second Saturday or more if desired. Most shifts however average 10 – 12 hours with some 8 hour shifts in quieter periods. 

 

Hook Lift – RORO – Truck Driver

Deliver and pickup industrial Skip Bins for Commercial Properties / Businesses – generally a mixture of recycling, packaging, general waste, materials and consumables.

If you are an experienced truck driver but you haven't picked up / delivered skips on customer sites – Full Training is provided! 

• Monday to Friday Very Early Day Shift
• 1am/2am start with 8 hour+ shifts until the run is done
• Overtime and excellent penalty rates!
• $36.80 – $68.01 per hour
• Occasional weekend work is available!

 

Rear Lift Truck Driver

Pickup and empty plastic bins of general waste – recyclable cans / plastic and glass bottles from businesses.  Roll the bin to the back and operate the lifter to tip them in.

• Monday to Friday for a late Day Shift
• 10am start 6pm finish (or until the run is done)
• Overtime and great penalty rates
• $36.80 – 68.01 per hour
• Weekend work available!

 

Front Lift Truck Driver

General Waste or Recycling work. Drive straight onto bins if good access, if limited access, occasionally required to grab and manoeuvre the bin to empty with the truck lifter arms.

• Monday to Friday Very Early Day Shift
• 2am starts with 8 – 12 hour days until the run is done
• Overtime and excellent penalty rates!
• $37.66 – 69.60 per hour
• Weekend work available!

 All Casual Rates are VERY close to the Permanent Rates when converting across. No big drop in rate when going permanent!
