Multi-Skilled Plant Operators – Ipswich Area – $41.93 / hr + Good Overtime !

Job Connect are urgently seeking an ongoing casual to permanent Multi-Skilled Plant Operator to join a long term and strong brand in Waste Management. They are seeking Operators who enjoy an abundance of Overtime for their Landfill site in the Ipswich area.

They are well known for investing in their staff and providing opportunities for growth onto new machines as you develop in your role. 

Due to the uneven density of waste material and structural nature of their compaction and benching, they are seeking operators with a minimum of 1 year of experience to be considered ‘competent’ in the below.

 

Required RIIMPs/ license listed below to be considered for the role – note unfortunately all tickets are mandatory given the needs of the team currently:

• Scraper (RIIMP)
• Dozer (RIIMP)
• HC or above License

Car and license are required to get to work reliably for this position given the lack of public transport accessibility.

While not essential, experience on any of the following RIIMP tickets are used on site and are a good bonus!:

• Loader 
• Excavator
• Grader
• Compactor
• Water Cart
• Haul Truck/Moxy

Successful applicants will be offered the following:

• $41.93/hr casual + Penalties
• 10 – 12 hour average length shifts with weekend shifts available – min 8 hour shifts are infrequent!
• Long term role with permanent positions available, the client wants long-term ongoing staff offering job security!
• Day-shift hours with 6am starts
