Job Connect is seeking experienced Maintenance Fitters to join a medium-sized factory in the Wacol area. This facility is relatively new, meaning the focus is on preventative maintenance and process improvements rather than constant breakdown response-an ideal opportunity for those looking for a more balanced workload.

This role is well-suited for Fitters wanting to transition from large-scale maintenance to a more manageable environment. The manufacturing machinery is PLC-driven, featuring auger motors, hoppers, agitators, conveyor systems, and hydraulic/pneumatic components. Fitters with experience in food production, cement plants, or building supplies will find the transition seamless.

Key Responsibilities:

• Preventative maintenance on PLC-driven manufacturing machinery
• Maintenance of conveyor systems, including flat and screw conveyors
• Routine inspections of plant and equipment
• Attending to breakdowns as required
