Day & Afternoon Shift Warehouse Forklift / Pick Pickers – $38.24 – $42.83 /hr

A Large and well-known National Food Distribution company are looking to start multiple Day and Afternoon Warehouse Pickers / Forklift Storespeople for their Distribution Centre in the Hemmant area. Earn $38.24 – $42.83/hr + OT + Penalties!

Multiple Available Positions:

• Day shifts: Monday to Friday roster, starting at 5:00am, 9:00am, or 9:30am.
• Afternoon shifts: Monday to Friday roster, starting at 3:00pm.

Key Responsibilities:

This role plays a key part in keeping our warehouse operations running smoothly and efficiently and is ideal for someone who enjoys a mix of pick packing and forklift operating.

• Accurately pick and pack orders, ensuring the correct items and quantities are prepared.
• Move completed pallets to the dispatch area for wrapping, labelling, and final preparation across dry goods, chillers, and freezer sections (freezer gear provided).
• Assist with inventory control and carry out basic equipment checks.
• Maintain a clean, organised workspace while following strict safety and hygiene protocols.

What We're Looking For:

• Warehouse Experience: Previous warehouse experience is preferred. Experience in food distribution is a bonus but not required — we'll train you!
• Forklift Licence: Valid and ready to use. Experienced and newly licensed operators are welcome to apply. No forklift licence but willing to get one in the near future? You're still encouraged to apply.
• Physical Fitness: Able to handle manual tasks and stay active throughout the day.
• Attention to Detail: Precise and careful with your work.
• Strong Communication Skills: Demonstrate clear and effective communication within a team setting.
• Ability to pass a drug/alcohol test and pre-employment medical.
• Please note: Full working rights in Australia are required for these positions.
