Day & Night Warehouse Pick Packers / Forklift Operators – $38.24/hr – $44.36/hr!

Looking for a Forklift Operator/ Pick Packer or Warehouse Dockhand position? Our client, a National Food Distributor in Lytton, is hiring for both dynamic Day shift Pick packers & Dock Hand roles and Night shift Pick Packers in the warehouse, offering competitive pay, career growth, and long-term opportunities. Available Positions:

• Day shifts: Monday to Friday roster, starting at 5.00am or 9.00am.
• Night Shifts: Sunday to Thursday roster, starting at 10.30pm.

Key Duties:

• Forklift Operations: Efficiently load, unload, relocate, and stack products in the warehouse.
• Work Environment: Operate in dry food sections, chillers, and freezers (freezer gear supplied).
• Pick Packing: Ensure orders are accurately picked and packed with correct items and quantities.
• Equipment Checks: Conduct routine inspections on forklifts and report any issues.
• Organisation: Keep your workspace tidy while adhering to safety and hygiene standards.
• Inventory Management: Assist with stock control and inventory tasks.
• Team Collaboration: Work effectively with colleagues to maintain smooth operations.

Requirements:

• Warehouse Experience: Prior warehouse experience is preferred, and experience in food distribution is a plus (but not essential – we’ll train you!).
• Forklift License: Valid license required; both experienced and new operators are encouraged to apply (training available for newly licensed individuals).
• Physical Fitness: Ability to handle manual tasks and stay active throughout the night.
• Attention to Detail: Accuracy and careful attention to your work.
• Communication Skills: Ability to work well in a team and communicate clearly.
• Flexibility: Willingness to work Day or Night Shifts.
• Eligibility: Full working rights in Australia are required for these roles.
