Job Connect are seeking Permanent Batch Production Machine Operators with Forklift tickets for an international, leading company in the Building Supplies industry in Wacol.

This role is for workers experienced in following batch sheets or recipes to make industrial quantities of product that gets checked for quality.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operating Mixers, Fillers, Baggers using Control Systems and Operating Forklifts
• Manufacturing quality batches with a strong focus on safety
• Collaborating with an experienced team of permanent production staff
• Participating in hazard reduction and safety pre-starts

 

Requirements:

• 1+ years of prior batch production experience, including following specific recipe/batch sheets to produce industrial quantities that meet quality assurance standards
• Experience operating computerised machines to blend products (examples include foods, liquids, powders, or chemicals).
• Forklift experience and license to move pallets and product
• Physical ability to perform manual tasks, such as lifting 20kg bags into hoppers
• Desire to work stable Day, Afternoon or Night Shifts (no rotating shifts)
• Willingness to train on Days for 4 – 6 weeks until fully competent
