Mechanical Assemblers – Heavy Plant – $38/hr + Penalties + Optional OT!

Job Connect are seeking Mechanical Assemblers for ASAP roles who are eager to move their career to the next level from light vehicles to heavy plant in the Eagle Farm area.

This is a full time career with a company eager to invest in you for the long term. Ideal experience could include Vehicle, Plant or Production Machine Maintenance or Mechanical Assembly. 

Foreign Engineers with a background in Mechanical Installation/Delivery located in Brisbane with full working rights seeking a long term mechanical role are also welcome!

Successful applicants will:

• Use hand and power tools to assemble work packages for sub-assembly teams
• Possibly work in specialist teams like Pre-delivery Inspection or Pre-Paint
• Fit parts and accessories to complete work packages on plant for layers/sections
• Assisting in assembling or fitting Hydraulic / Pneumatic systems
• Train and develop to work across multiple teams and learn new skills over time 

 

Criteria to be eligible:

• Prior professional experience in mechanical assembly or servicing of vehicles, plant or machines
• Full working rights and Australian located to accept a permanent role – unfortunately time limited visas without a pathway to continue indefinitely will not be compatible 
• Reliable transport to and from site
• Ability to complete drug urine pre-employment process

 

Successful applicants can expect:

• Guaranteed full-time hours of 38+ per week
• Monday to Friday day shift roles commencing at 6am
• Early midday finishes on Fridays
• Optional shifts on Saturdays for OT
• Opportunity to cross skill with different section/departments
• Free onsite parking available
