Job Connect is working with an industry leading client in the Tile and Pavers products industry to source an experienced Procurement Officer in the Ellen Grove area.
As a proven Procurement professional, you will assist in sourcing of all raw materials and finished product ensuring information provided from key suppliers is maintained and updated within the Microsoft Dynamics ERP platform and various inventory management spreadsheets.
To ensure efficiency, you will also be vigilant in identifying any inventory issues and documenting them for escalation to the Procurement Manager.

Your key responsibilities will include:
- Assisting in accurately managing the inventory thorough analysis methods to effectively purchase stock while optimising working capital. This includes the regular review of relevant minimum / maximum stock levels and transfers of stock to all warehouses.
- Assist in planning and managing all activities related to sourcing and procurement of necessary materials and supplies needed to meet changing levels of product demand. Ensuring timely provision and uninterrupted stock replenishment as required.
- Ensure internal teams and external stakeholders are aligned to ensure the delivery, cost and quality requirements of the business are achieved while enforcing accountability with NCRs.
- Ensuring all transactions are entered accurately in the Microsoft Dynamics ERP system.
- Assist in the identification of material supply constraints ensure timely communication to the procurement manager of stock issues.
- Ensure that all processes under your control are compliant with internal policies and relevant ISO standards once communicated.

Ideal Applicants will possess:
- Tertiary Qualifications in Business, Procurement, Supply-chain, Inventory Management preferred (Degree, or Diploma)
- Proven experience working in a procurement function, within large scale production exposure within a chemical manufacturing or FMCG environment.
- High level commercial acumen with strong procurement process improvement identification and implementation experience
- Strong relationship building ability with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Well-developed planning, organising and time management skills with an intrinsic level of urgency for deadlines.
- High levels of competence within ERP Database systems and Excel.
