If you’re a qualified fabricator who loves working with light-gauge metal and turning drawings into real steel, this stable, long-term opportunity is built for you.

 

The role involves:

• Interpreting engineering drawings and fabricating components
• MIG and Stick welding plus general fabrication on heavy plant equipment
• Repairing, modifying and strengthening existing structures
• Adding custom fabricated parts to machines already in build
• Grinding, drilling, tapping and finishing to exact specifications

An ideal applicant will have:

• Trade-qualified Sheetmetal Worker or similar Engineering/Metals Trade
• Strong hands-on experience with light-gauge metal fabrication
• Confidence in welding, repairs, modifications and workshop processes
• Ability to read and work accurately from detailed engineering drawings
• Reliable, self-motivated team player with a strong work ethic
• Ability to pass a Drug Urine Screen
• Full working rights to take on a Full Time role in Australia
