Trade Assistants / Confined Space Spotters – $44.73 / hour !

Job Connect are seeking temporary Trade Assistants/Confined Space Spotters for full time hours to work with a company focused on maintaining in-ground Water / Waste Infrastructure until the end of June with a possibility of extension/ongoing.

The role will be focused on assisting a qualified Tradesperson in the maintenance of water quality and pumping infrastructure above ground and with below ground works. You will be using hand and power tools to assist with preparing materials, fetching equipment, spotting for the tradesperson installing in manholes and while also possibly entering this information into touch pads to track completed works.

This role will be based out of their Archerfield depot to service sites around the full Brisbane Metro area.

 

An ideal candidate will have:

• Prior hand or power tool experience in maintenance or construction roles
• White Card to enter construction zones
• Current Hep A/B vaccination and are able to provide serology certificate evidencing full immunisation
• Confined Space/Gas Test Atmospheres ticket/cert
• Working at Heights ticket
• Operate Breathing Apparatus ticket/cert
• Driver's license to potentially operate team allocated company vehicle
